The 2018 edition of the G2E exhibition in Las Vegas will be yet again the key event for Alfastreet, announcing important novelties and game evolutions for the second part of the year, preparing the ground for future trends that will see the introduction of radically advanced machines in 2019.
Among a rich pack of novelties that will entertain the visitors of the Sand Expo & Convention Center, there’ll also be a freshly redesigned Multi-touch automated electronic Roulette table with 8 play stations and the live wheel. The table has been the leading product of its kind for the last 2 years and is a faithful electronic emulation of a classic live Roulette table. It’s been almost three years since we first showed our mechanical horse race machine. Naturally, this was an advanced machine with complicated mechanical parts, RNG controlled software and somehow special design. Brand new, and one of its kind on the current gaming market (at that time) this machine could be associated with the similar concept product, that was famous around many gaming clubs around the world. I deliberately specified that machine ruled the club scene, as it was never fit and proper to be certified and placed in a regulated casino environment.

Regardless, we can call our Royal Derby a next-generation product of the same kind. When originally presented, this machine raised considerable interest, as well as skepticism related to its reliability due to complex design, and also related to its potential profitability.

Almost three years down the road, we can say that this machine fulfilled our expectations, although, skepticism was in place at the initial stage. Certification was easy, as all of our products are based on the same system that’s reliable and efficient. Certification was followed by placement of the several products around the world. Fairly said, we did experience mechanical issues with some of the more complex parts of the game. Also, the logistics of moving and installing such oversized machine created additional challenge for our team. All this was followed by realizing, that the typical players of Royal Derby, don’t have many similarities to people that bet on real horse races. All these things occupy our constructors, our software and hardware teams, and since Royal Derby is a unique machine, we had to learn as we went along.

Since the initial launch, we’ve placed Royal Derby in numerous places around the globe, starting from Europe, followed by US, Asia, South America, and Caribbean. At this point, we’re counting 100+ units installed and we’re very thankful to all that supported us through the initial stage of issues and modifications.

Today, Royal Derby is a modern, sophisticated product, with loyal players in many Casinos around the world. Although this machine probably won’t justify your footprint, if compared to the same footprint occupied by slot machines, Royal Derby still brings additional value to the gaming floor. Royal Derby brings attention, diversity, entertainment.

Besides the ‘entertainment’ factor, we’re more than assured, that Royal Derby brings additional revenue to the Casino, and even if making less when evaluated according to its footprint, all the earnings are addition and not a deduction from the operator’s floor. I guess we could say, that Royal Derby fits into the ‘Cup is half full’ kind of environment.

Having gone through all the needed transformations, Royal Derby is reliable and efficient gaming product, ready and certified in most global jurisdictions. Based on its success, Royal Derby is now already evolved into Car Race, Wet Race, and probably something more.

We’re now officially ready and able, to call this product a part of our main line of products, with adequate track record and positive potential for the future.

This year’s show was special for our company, as we experienced overwhelming response to the products that we presented. We brought our latest Multi Touch roulette, Royal Derby. Single terminals, and cream of the crop, our first ever, land-based, fully certifiable, Fish Hunter game.
This game is very popular among Asian online players, yet no one, until now, placed it in a proper cabinet and certified it for a proper casino establishment.

That’s also the reason why this year our stand was overcrowded most of the time. We received exclusively positive response from major operators around Asia and wider, and we’re looking forward to start making first deliveries.

Besides the Fish Hunter, our Multi Touch roulette attracted almost equal amount of attention, as it offers a different approach, to somehow ‘classical’ way of playing the electronic roulette. Our Multi Touch is already a star on the US market and we’re already preparing additional products to complement this new and unique style.

As said, G2E exceeded our expectations and we’re looking into the future with excitement and gratitude. With all the recent major installations around the area, this year is going to bring at least few more surprises, for the operators, and our competitors alike.

At this point, we’re already turning our heads towards G2E Las Vegas, and this one will be at least equally special for Alfastreet.

We are happy to be back at G2E Asia after one year break and excited to see our customers, regulators and of course our competition.

In the past year, we have been placing our products in the Asian market and we are hoping and working on even expanding our market share in Asia. Alfastreet is pleased with the outcome of the exhibition at the Entertainment Arena Expo in Bucharest held beginning of September which confirmed the leading position of their products on the market. The show proved to be well organized and successful, largely due to the effort from the local distributor SC Alfastreet Trade SRL, who maintain firm hold on the market with excellent service and communication between the requests from the operators and the company R&D department in Slovenia.

The attendees appreciated the Lucky 8 fully automated electronic roulette, offering all of the latest features, known from the company’s top of the line cabinets in optimized, rounded shape that occupies estimated 25% less space on a gaming floor, compared to the well known and popular R8. The first units went straight into operation immediately after the show. Great response also for the compact series, represented by the R5 roulette combining contained outside dimensions with 21” touch screen monitors and all the performance and comfort, generally associated with the Alfastreet brand.
